This Week’s Sweet and Sour Prompts - Objections

This week we put ChatGPT to the test for customer objections.

Sour

We start with our Sour (aka simplistic) prompt:

PROMPT:
I am creating a new personal fitness app called FitPal. What are some objections that people might have to signing up?

How did ChatGPT do with the Sour prompt?

Sweet

And now the Sweet (aka advanced) prompt:

PROMPT:
You are an expert in persona creation and messaging for marketers.

You are tasked with helping my new personal fitness app, FitPal, overcome objections to buying.

FitPal is aimed at busy millennial parents who want to stay fit but have very little time. They are above average income earners that live in the suburbs.

Your task is to think about the objections that our target market may have to buying FitPal, and come up with messaging to overcome those objections.

Specifically, your output will be as follows:
-5 main objections
-Descriptions of the objections
-Messaging options to overcome each objection

The format of your output should be a table.

How did ChatGPT do with the Sweet prompt?

Analysis

The Sour prompt gave us some generic reasons why someone may not want to buy a personal fitness app. But the Sweet prompt gave us something way…Sweeter! A table with objections and specific messaging to overcome the objections - all targeted exactly to our audience!

Annnnnnd last but not least, I asked ChatGPT what I should use as a signoff this week. See my prompt below and ChatGPT’s options. A bit dad-jokey…

  1. "Keep growing and glowing!"

  2. "Until our next growth spurt..."

  3. "Grow on and prosper!"

  4. "May your metrics always be 'up and to the right'!"

  5. "Planting this thought for now. Let's see it sprout next time!"

  6. "Grow forth and amplify!"

  7. "Watering this conversation for now, excited to see the bloom in our next chat."

  8. "Scaling down this email, but always here to scale up your growth!"

  9. "Remember, every click counts. Grow boldly!"

  10. "Trimming back for now, but eagerly awaiting our next growth moment!"

Actually one more thing…If you have any growth marketing use cases for which you’d like to see prompt examples, please reply and let us know - we’ll get them created and featured in the next issue!
